Existing building had been converted in the seventies into flats with the original 1930s pitched roof replaced with a flat roof across both properties. Externally at first floor timber cladding had been installed.
The client who owned both properties wanted to restore the properties to their original design and build additional accommodation in the loft. In addition one of the properties required a side extension to match the other side.
